Welcome to my Beer Blog! The purpose behind this blog is bring light to one of the greatest libations out there. Beer can impart a world of depth and flavor on the human palate, and I can only hope to bring attention to these characters of beer through this blog.
There are more and more women in the beer industry. My hope is to enhance the basics, oddities, and wonders of beer through the eyes of a women.
I quite enjoy talking about beer and the brewing process with customers at Surdyk's Liquor & Cheese Shop where I work. It gives me pleasure to help recommend to men and women a beer that they might enjoy based on what they have liked in the past or what they might be pairing with it for dinner.
Here's to my first blog and hopefully a learning experience for some, a retreat for others.
